20 year Plan

I am a very go with the flow kind of guy. And honestly I do not know what I will be doing in twenty years, I don’t even know what I’m going to be doing next year exactly. I know that whatever I do I will be fine. However with that said I am a very ambitious person with high goals in life so I do know I will be doing something.

Although I am very open to the future I do have some “wishes and dreams” of what the next twenty years might have in store. I do plan to go to a challenging four year college but at this time that is completely unknown where that will be. I would like to major in psychology or criminology and possibly minor in another field of study depending on my availability/interest. After getting a bachelors degree I would like to get a masters in psychology at a very “high-end” grad school. After that is when it gets a little dicey. I would like to join a federal agency and serve as a federal agent. This is unlikely to happen right away though because most of the time agencies want job or military experience. If that is the case, I would probably join the United States’ military preferably the Marines. I have always liked to have some excitement in my life and that will be the most present with the Marines. After my time in the military I will then probably transfer to an agency and start my career as a federal agent. In both of these career paths I will use skills that I have learned at ACLC such as time management and commitment. Of course this could all change due to change in interests, just four years ago I wanted to be a marine biologist.

On a more personal level I have no huge “goals” for myself. Seeing if I join the military or an agency I will probably be moved around a fair amount and my job will dictate for the most part where I live. And that is fine with me I do not really care where I live (as long as it’s not in a desert). I do not need a wife. If I meet someone special then that would be great but it is not something that I will be searching for. But if I have a wife or not I would like to have a kid. This of course depends on my availability due to my career choices. If there is a conflict then I can make that decision when I get there. I will probably still be an active member of the Episcopal Church weather that means continuing on as a deputy in the House of Deputies or on a more local level being a productive member in the parish community.

We will see where the waves of life take me but no matter what I do plan on having an active and enjoyable life. I am excited to see what will happen next and I can thank ACLC for giving life lessons that I will take with me wherever I go.
